This piece is a painting from my photograph taken while driving through New Brunswick.
This work confronts our mediated interaction with our land; the land is divided and pieced by the road and bridge, but the view is one of the more common ways we look at the landscape. The signs of the technological mediated remain present in the work: the tip or the dashboard, and the polarization of the top of the windshield. This brings the viewer closer to the landscape, but reminds us of the barrier that still remains between
