Magnolia Banda-Marin's work engages into the world of language by investigating the word play which exploits underlying issues within the subject at hand- alienation- migration- consumerism- tragedy- loss. THe symbolism created often advances into a narrative, which can be quite evident at first glance and is later contradicted by the offerings made. Banda- Marin's work often reformats the language in which socio-political issues are used and the audience is made aware of the intrinsic.
