House of the Muskoka Sunrise

This piece is the most recent of my works. I've been playing with smoother textures as of late and I usually use a high gloss varnish which does a great job of showing off brush strokes. It also gives more depth to darker hues. In the right circumstances, it's almost like looking in a mirror. I grew up in central ontario, and have many memories of summertime in Orillia and the Severn Bridge area.
